What a blessing 3rd-7th grades were to the residents of Trinity Place Retirement Center last Thursday! (We won't mention the downpour that drenched us all on the walk back to ACS!!!)

The Homework Machine Book Club Projects

These are a little late, but here they are!  The Homework Machine book club finished up a while back, and here are their awesome projects:

1. Aidan with his Snik "Big Character"

 2. Tristan with his Brenton "Big Character"

 3. Ruben with his soap sculpture of "Belch" a.k.a "The Homework Machine"

 4. Solomon with his diorama of Brenton's room, the main setting of The Homework Machine.

Pop and Share!

Friday we took the time to enjoy a "Pop and Share" party.  We popped some popcorn and enjoyed listening to one another's Point of View Pet Stories, movie-theater style!  They were all hilarious!

What Wonderful Mystery Readers!

We've had 2 great Mystery Readers this month!  First, Sara's dad (on her birthday!).  He even brought us some yummy eggrolls!  We ate EVERY last one!  Then, Miss Barbara surprised us as the Mystery Reader.  She read us the book Mooseltoe and even brought a friend for us to decorate like a Christmas tree, just like in the story!  It was "PER-FECT-LY Perfect!"

Our Soap Opera Is Up!

Ms. Sayuri got our new soap opera posted to the website this week!  It is on the 4th grade page of the ACS website.  Look for "Visit Our Classroom".  Remember, you'll need our password to get in.  If you've forgotten, look in your TOAD folder on the "Technology Tidbits" insert!
